the future of "Heimat." Heimat is often considered a particularly German concept, because it does not have perfect semantic equivalents in many European languages. It commonly refers to where one feels at home for whatever reason.

Being is a movement that uses sensorial tools to help you find this mental space we call home within yourself.
In this mental space, you are fully present, aware of where you are and what you are doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what is going on around you.
Inspire is a sensory experience in the U-Bahn that helps you discover the value of being present and hence inspires you to find more ways to do so.
At the end of the Inspire experience, you are prompted to learn more about Being by signing up for Essence.
Essence is a spatial experience with sensory rooms that help identify the sensory stimulations you respond most to.
The use of a sensory room supports the individual’s preferences, responsibility and accountability, and oversight of their own mental health. - Leslie M. Reed (2017)
A bracelet that tracks your biometrics is your ticket
to enter Essence.
As you visit each sense room, the bracelet learns
how you respond to various stimulations.
Breathe Room :
Scents affect our emotions, evoke memories, unleash desires and can help us feel calm, comfortable and safe.
A unique scent lies under each cone of light. As you experience different scents, we capture the scent combinations you respond most to.
Feel Room :
Different frequencies of sound and vibration can elicit positive or negative emotions.
As you feel different sound waves through the vibrating walls,, we find the frequency you resonate at.
Vent Room :
Touch is the most powerful way to communicate your emotions.
As you touch different textures, we find which ones help you communicate your emotions best.

Flow Room :
Your ability to focus your sight completely on one thing and tune out other distractions, can tell how attentive you are.
As you interact with our visual projections, we learn about your ability to tune out irrelevant sights.
Being Guide :
After going through all the experiences, you come into this final room for evaluation with a Being team member.
You see all the data that the band has collected, from your vitals to your activation and deactivation points throughout your experience. Through this, you are able to learn what sensorial experiences you respond to the most.
